sea_ice_internal_pressure N m-1 [NTPM]
Sea ice internal pressure is the effective pressure associated with the internal stress field of the sea ice cover, representing the instantaneous internal mechanical state of the ice and not its material strength. "Sea ice" means all ice floating in the sea which has formed from freezing sea water, rather than by other processes such as calving of land ice to form icebergs.
